Explanation of Credit Card & E–check Convenience Fee

BEXAR COUNTY is prohibited by law from paying the processing fees incurred when a taxpayer chooses to pay his or her taxes by Credit Card or eCheck. In order to provide this convenience BEXAR COUNTY has contracted with a third party. The convenience fee covers the cost of this service.
